Known for his ability to convey tremendous excitement and enthusiasm, the “Voice of the San Diego Polo Club” (listen to demo) is now entering his 22nd season announcing at the club. Steve has called over 1,000 polo matches at over 20 clubs across the United States, Mexico and Europe. He is the home announcer for Club Polo Cabo in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and has been chosen by the American Polo Horse Association as the official announcer of the National Polo Pony Show held in Palm Beach, Fl every March.
Steve is widely considered one of the best announcers in polo.
He has had the honor and opportunity to be a member of the announcing team for the 2008 World Cup of Polo (English language play-by-play) in Mexico City. He has also announced polo on Del Mar TV, Wealth TV Network and the Triple Crown of Polo on ESPN. Steve has announced the Del Mar National Horse Show’s “Night of the Horse” 14 times since 1994. As a voice over/announcer was chosen to announce NCAA Basketball and NHL Hockey for Sony Playstation.
